Radiant Plasma Spark Generator
Aquapulser's 2 and 4 channel Plasma Distribution Modules (or Bricks as they are commonly called) remove all the guesswork out of hooking up an addon plasma ignition module into your existing ignition system to squeeze every bit of efficiency from your engine. The distribution of plasma involves the creation of the perfect environment for an Oscillating Current discharge to occur. In addition various diodes need to be in place to ensure that the delicate circuitry at the plasma generation (the RPG 4700) end as well as the high voltage generation (existing Ignition Coil) end are adequately protected. Since high voltage sparks tend to jump to nearby grounded components easily (especially while the engine is running under load), the distributors are sealed in a high-dielectric resin, and standard high voltage connectors are made available so that industry standard insulated and temperature resistant cables can be used for the safest possible connections.
The Plasma Distribution Modules allow you to utilize a single plasma discharge source (such as the RPG 4700 Ignition Module) to generate plasma discharge into multiple parallel spark gaps/spark plugs, each of which is individually triggered by a distributor based ignition system. The connections are as follows:
- The plasma output from the Ignition Module (plasma discharge source) connects to the single rear terminal of the distribution brick.
- The outputs from the distributor cap connect to each of the top terminals of the distribution brick.
- The front terminals of the plasma distribution brick connect to the resistorless spark plug of the appropriate cylinder (according to the top terminal input from the distributor). IMPORTANT: This connection must be made with resistorless copper core ignition cables only.
